Welcome To Hello Sunshine Studio

A joyful studio space for those wanting to practise reformer pilates, yoga + mat pilates in Napier.

We encourage all levels – whether you have been practising for years, have had a break for a while and are wanting to return, or are coming along for the first time.

An introductory session is a fantastic way to familiarise yourself with the Pilates reformer machine as they can be a bit daunting to start with!

Each introductory session includes the following:

What We Do

Reformer Pilates

Open-level total body reformer class. Each class will build and challenge your strength, balance, and flexibility throughout your body. It’s an all over body workout. A mix of guided exercises on the reformer that may incorporate a range of props.

Mat Pilates

Open level total body pilates mat class. You will build strength, improve your balance and tone your body. These group classes may incorporate additional equipment and involve challenging sequences.

Sculpt

This is the class to expect the unexpected! All you need to know is it’ll be fun, you’ll use hand-weights + a variety of other props! There will be good tunes and each class will differ – there might be a bit of pilates, a bit of barre, a bit of cardio, some games, or even some HIIT style movement. No matter your fitness level or experience this low-impact fun-filled workout with weights will challenge you and leave you wanting more!

Yoga Power Flow

Coordinating breath and movement to flow from one posture to the next. Moving through the poses and sequences with a focus on fluidity and form.

Yoga Slow Flow

Yoga Slow Flow is where we slow it down and put our focus on feeling, so you can practice those poses and become a slow flow pro.

Yoga Yin

Through expansive stretches and long holds, we’ll release any tension and achieve a state of calm that feels positively wonderful.

Golden Reformer

This class is for all our (Super)Golden Girls and Guys. Reformer pilates but we take it slower and with lighter springs. You’ll work on your balance and keeping your body moving well.

One on One or Duo Sessions

If you’re keen for a One on One or Duo session for any of our classes, please talk to the instructor you’d like about organising a time + day that suits you. You may want a private session for a variety of reasons including:
~ Building up your self confidence
~ Practicing a move or series of moves that you have been struggling with in class
~ Working towards some more advanced moves
~ Training for a specific event
~ Choosing the time and day that suits you best
